southern comfort

I titled this blog 'southern comfort" because technically, i live in the south

and this blog is about one of my comforts -

but then i thought that people might think i am an alcoholic -

but then i decided that i don't care, and that it was kinda funny (considering that I am a major NON drinker!)

So, here is one of my southern comforts:

My way too big men's size 9 American Eagle slippers

given to me by my awesome son, Tim for Christmas two years ago.

I wear them everywhere - I have even been known to find myself in the grocery store

with them accidentally on! Embarrassing!

These slippers are super loyal - they have stood with me through rain and sleet and snow and backyard dog poop and everything else you can imagine.

They stink to high heaven, and I love them.
