Jeepers! It's Halloween!

This was a weird Halloween - none of us want a Sunday Halloween ever again!

It was just off, and made things not as fun :(

I could never settle on a costume - Tommy refused to dress up - Tim didn't want to go door to door and Michaela got pink eye and couldn't come over at all!

After the church party, Tim came home and Maggie went to a halloween party with some friends. Everyone knew right away who she was! I thought she looked AMAZING!!

She didn't stay long - just long enough for someone to sideswipe her car! Ughhh!!!

Then on Sunday, after much debate as to whether or not we would allow trick or treating on the Sabbath - the kids chose to hang out together and hand out candy to the masses.

(i know - bad parents) We kept one big bag of chocolate that we had bought, for mag, tim and haley to share.

None of them dressed up and we all decided that a Sunday Halloween should be banned - next time it comes around, I think we should all petition the city to move trick or treating to Saturday - city wide.

Maggie, Haley & Tim decided that it was such a nice evening, that they would play a little catch before dinner and Halloween festivities.

(note the shaving cream on the street, professing the love between mag and haley? Tim found a can of cream as he was searching for a stray ball in the bushes - it was left over from months ago when mag & justin had a shaving cream fight!)

Trick or Treaters started coming just as we were about to have dinner, so the kids ate outside

Yumm - Tommy's most delicious scrambled eggs, and my favorite turkey bacon and turkey lil' smokies! (hey - don't judge -they were lucky to get any dinner at all!)

Can't wait until next year - already working on my possible costume list -
