At Forney High School - Homecoming week is a big deal! Every day is given a different theme and the kids are encouraged to dress accordingly (no dress code, so the kids are happy to participate!)

| And the week concludes with the football game and homecoming dance. Maggie and Shelby decided to forgo the dance (its in the school gym - sweaty and full of freshman hormones!) and the expensive dresses, hair and makeup ritual - they went out to dinner instead. All of the boys in their group boycotted and had a man date, so the girls headed out alone! They had a great time! They went into Dallas and had dinner at Tillman's Roadhouse. They wanted to take some great pics but they took too long getting ready (they laid around chatting and laughing instead of getting dressed) so here is the official photo from the night - super classy, in front of a gas station before driving away! |
