Margaritaville

Tommy had a birthday! FIFTY-ONE!!
The kids surprised him with tickets to see his favorite, Jimmy Buffet!

Since he didn't know that he was going to the concert - he wasn't prepared with a crazy, drunken costume.
I'm pretty sure we were the most conservative couple in the whole crowd!

Screen Shots #6

More random things that made me stop for a quick screen shot - for one reason or another!

KPop

One of Maggie's roommates, Janelle, served a mission in Korea and is a member of the Korean club on campus at BYUH. Maggie and two of her other roommates, Allison and J.J joined too.
They had the opportunity to perform a Kpop dance at the fantastic Culture Night!
Maggie had SO MUCH FUN doing this dance! I guess it helped that Janelle was fluent in Korean!
She said that the event center was packed and it was one of the most fun things she has done this semester - she can't wait to participate again next year!

Korean gansters at rehearsal

Don't mess with these Kpop girls - you can tell they mean business by those braids!

Watch the video below - Maggie is on the left of the screen in the front.

No part is a "small" part!

Rockwall Community Playhouse presents The Wizard of Oz!
Tim had a few small roles - Crow #1, Ozian, a Polisher and a Winkie.

Tim with Crow #2 and #3

Full Cast

Tim next to Dorothy - he had a nice solo in this song

with his back to you

Tommy pitched in and helped run the sound - because this production required A LOT of practice hours (weeks and weeks, every night from 6-10) He and Tim spent TONS of father/son time together!
I got lucky and only had to pitch in to take the cast headshots!
Maggie came home from school just in time to see a few of the shows - there were 13 in all!

Together at Last!

Stephanie, Matt and Ethan came up for the weekend to see Tim perform  - it was the first time they have been together since Christmas. The five of them were so happy to be together at last!

I am blessed to have these five to love.
I am blessed that these five love each other.
I am blessed that these five love me.

Before the play, I snapped a few photos - I sure love these guys!

I am really lucky…

… to have been raised by a woman who never, ever raised her voice above a sweet gentle tone.

I am really lucky to have been raised by a woman who was my mom when I needed one and a very best friend the rest of the time.

I am really lucky to have been raised by a woman who taught me all of the little day to day things that go into being a supportive wife and loving mom.

I am really lucky to be one of three children in my family who each know we are for sure the favorite of my mother. (although I'm the youngest and the only girl so it stands to reason that it truly is me!)

I am really lucky to have a mother who my own children adore - and who will claim "Nana's favorite" status as well!

I am really lucky that I was raised by a woman who cares to be involved in all that goes on in my daily life and the lives of my children.

I am really lucky to have a mother in-law who raised a hard working, righteous man and then shared him with me.

I am really lucky to have a mother in law who is an example to me in many ways - especially in regard to her love of the gospel.

I am really lucky to have a mother in law who values family and has an eternal perspective.

I am really lucky to have been given two of my own beauties to raise just like my mother raised me (minus the never raising my voice thing!)

I am really lucky to have two children who love each other, who turn to each other for just about everything and who are best friends.

I am really lucky to often feel a bit left out when I witness the close bond that my children share.

I am really lucky that Tim listens to his sister and heeds her counsel.
I am really lucky that said counsel is often what I would tell him - sometimes much more wise!

I am really lucky that my children love me with all of their hearts and forgive me of my many faults.

I am really lucky to have children who value family time with me and Tommy over just about anything else.

I am really lucky to have been blessed with a beautiful, soft spoken and humble mother and to have then been blessed with
Tommy's mother, who is a so strong and spiritual.
On top of that, I was given two talented, beautiful and obedient children.

I am really lucky on this Mothers Day and my blessings are not unnoticed.
I am so grateful to be really lucky!

Our nephew Preston Wright passed away on April 19, 2015.
