VA Thanksgiving

Tim and I took the week of Thanksgiving to drive up to visit Maggie since she would be alone for Thanksgiving. We had such a great trip!
We ate billions of Jellybeans (Tim insisted on clinking them together and saying "cheers" every time we popped one in our mouths), we sang at the top of our lungs to hours and hours of One Direction songs, we survived on sonic drinks and I endured more gross boy farts than anyone ever should (It was bad enough sometimes that I rolled the windows down WHILE it was pouring down rain!)

We saw this awesome double rainbow - from end to end! I have never seen the end of a rainbow before - but we saw this one! The bottom of it seen here, looked like a hologram as it touched down. Very Cool!

TOGETHER AT LAST!

She was so happy to have me pay for her gas!

Stuck in traffic - loads of singing

 Dinner in Lexington

She had an essay to write. She was evidently cold.

We were limited on what we could make for lunch and dinner in the hotel room. We stayed in on Thanksgiving day because, as Texans - that Virginia winter weather is not cool

A thanksgiving selfie sent to us from Matt and Steph

and another from Dave and Diane with my baby Ethan!

our formal dinner - stuffing, gravy, rubbery ham slices and gross deli rolls

Thank goodness for marie calendar and her delicious frozen chocolate pie. She saved the holiday.

Tim LOVED this store - so much that we actually video taped him walking around - he was super happy in here! When we checked out - he was not standing near us, but the employees were all taking about that kid who was walking around singing Christmas songs and chatting with customers - they were amazed at his holiday spirit!
While the candle store was super great - we found this candle, which is super gross

We took a selfie as we were moving maggie out of her house - tim was thrilled about all of the work - and the photo

We pretended the tiny vending machine at this hotel was a giant convenient store. We went to said convenience store for dinner

After hours and hours and hours of road tripping - we started taking selfless with other drivers.
You may not realize it - but this image is of a miracle in progress
