Winter weather!

On February 11th, we woke up to a blanket of snow! As Texans, we never get to see much of the white stuff - so we were all thrilled to see it falling!

Nana and Pa were visiting from San Antonio - it was a treat for them too!

Little Gus and Baby Jane didn't know what to think about it!

AAAHHH!!! SNNOOOWWW!!!

Before school - it was hard to get ready to go with all of that snow calling Tim's name!

Our house on the first snowy morning - by the next morning, the green plants were solid white mounds!

Arriving home from school - an innocent walk into the backyard turned into a war - little did they know, the neighbor was lying in wait with nefarious sneak attack plans!

snow angel?

beanies are evidently for wimps

Maggie was invited to a snowball war at Scotty Meager's house

Scott and Greyson going after Haley - she just THOUGHT she was safe behind the snow barricade!

Patty fashioned Tim a warm hood with a towel and scarf after he got snow in the hood of his coat - thanks to the big kids for that one - Tim was an easy target for them!

Tim helped Patty make the hot chocolate

Greyson, Scotty, Haley, Tim and Mags

Justin and Maggie

Tim, Riley and Ben not willing to come inside just yet!

Poor Charlie's little legs were just no match for the deep snow - he had to hop like a bunny to get through it!

I made the boys eat lunch outside - I couldn't handle anymore snow being tracked in my house!
I would never make it living in the north!

Justin's HUGE snowbomb

Tim, trying for a little payback!

Justin taking Maggie down

Maggie trying for payback - there seems to be a theme emerging!

I like how you can see Tim screaming as Justin is chasing him!

Snow in Texas is a big deal. I'm not a big fan of the cold or white stuff. It rarely snows here in the NOrthwest. Occasionally it's fun for a day. I hate the mess it makes in the house. Looks like your kids had a blast!

That snow was SO AMAZING but I'm with you, I could never survive up north! I was so frustrated with all the snow falling off the kids' shoes and jackets, it was everywhere! Definitely fun though for them.
